Maybe a hot beach day in Coney Island with a Nathan's Frankfurter? Those are all prime examples of Classic Old Brooklyn, but... what about a Classic Knish to complete that perfect Brooklyn Combo?! A Mrs. Stahl's Knish that is! Straight outta Brighton Beach!
 
Mrs. Stahl's Knishes was known City-Wide between the late 1930s until 2005. Located at 1001 Coney Island Avenue under the BMT Brighton Line Elevated Subway Tracks in Brighton Beach, Brooklyn, Mrs. Stahl's was a staple in the neighborhood for decades. Whether you came off the D/M and Q Trains and wanted to grab 2 Potato and 1 Onion Knish to nosh on when you got home, or, the grandkids were coming over and heading to the beach for the day and you needed a snack, Mrs. Stahl's never disappointed! When it came to variety of Knishes offered by Mrs. Stahl's, you had: Potato, Kasha, Cheese, Apple, Cabbage, Cherry-Cheese, Onion Pretzel, Potatonick and many more!

Let's head back to Old Brooklyn, when times were simpler and the little things made us smile.
